Neutral Makeup Look

Recently I've been loving doing a simple, quite neutral makeup look. Fresh skin to perk my face up a bit, softly defined eyes and pinky toned lips, it's the perfect put-together look ideal for everyday, not to mention is adds a wonderful glow to lacklustre skin.

Hair Dos and Don'ts with Madison Reed

I'm not going to lie, I don't look after my hair at all. I have soft, straight and sleek hair so good ole shampoo and conditioner has always done me well. I use a hair mask occasionally for my irritated scalp and the odd bit of dry shampoo here and there but other than that I'm pretty rubbish at looking after it in ways that  many others do, or advise. Having said all that I get it seems rather ironic to be writing this post, but when I discovered Madison Reed, a hair treatment and colour company, I thought I'd have a go at finding out exactly what is good and bad for your locks - it's really made me think about actually looking after my hair. So here are some hair dos and don'ts, including the ones I need to start doing.

FlashSticks Review

As I mentioned in my goals for 2016 post, one of my main goals for this year is to continue learning French. I don't attend classes, instead I use various apps and online teaching sites so when FlashSticks got in touch and sent me an intermediate pack of their language learning sticky notes I was really excited to see if this individual style of language learning would be successful for me.

3 under £10 | Eyeshadow Palettes

I used to be very against eye shadow, and looking back it was because I wasn't using the right formula or primer causing some horrible creasing. Not to mention I didn't really know what suited me or how to even apply it properly. Now things have changed, and I'm obsessed with it - a makeup look isn't complete for me without some shadow, and I'm a real sucker for neutral palettes. I've picked out 3 of my favourites to share with you, and as a bonus they're all under £10.

Practicing Self Care

Practicing self care is important, and not just if you're suffering in some way. It's so important to take time for yourself, to appreciate yourself and look after yourself - there's only one of you after all. I have to admit that I'm mostly really bad at doing this, but recently I've started getting into it a bit more so I thought I'd share my hints and tips as well as self care ideas.

First MAC Lipstick

A few months ago I wrote about my first MAC purchase, and as predicted I've made a few other purchases to add to my newly formed MAC collection.

25 Happy Things

My anxiety hasn't been the best and I've been feeling the January blues recently, so I challenged myself to come up with a list of 25 things that me happy. Documenting it online means I can always back to this and remind myself of the little things in life that really perk me up. Some of these are a little stereotypical I must admit, I'm also aware a lot of these things may seem a little materialistic, but they make me happy all the same.

2016 Goals

These posts have been floating around the blogosphere for the past few days, and whilst I'm not a fan of New Year's Eve there's no better chance to set yourself goals than the start of a new year. I normally have a series of resolutions that I always fail by the end of January at the latest, I find them too unachievable. In the hope to actually fulfill them this year, I'm calling them goals. Things for me achieve and succeed at during 2016.

15 Things of 2015

Happy New Year! To mark the start of 2016 I thought I'd gather together 15 things I've loved throughout 2015; be that things I've done, blogs I've read or products I've discovered and loved.
