Giving Therapy Another Chance

With today being World Mental Health Day, I thought I'd take the opportunity to share my thoughts on giving therapy/counselling another chance. My past experiences haven't been the best, and so I was apprehensive about giving it another try, but a few months in and I can honestly say it's been the best decision I've made for my mental health.

I'm not one for always putting my mental health before my education. Making the decision to take medical leave from my MA because of depression wasn't one I took lightly, and it didn't come without feeling like a failure.

Happy New Year! 2017 was a strange ol' year, and I'm rather glad to be seeing the back of it to be honest. Whilst I'm not the biggest fan of New Year, I'm all about having a little reflection of the year just past, and setting out what I want to achieve in the next.
