For me, there's nothing that smells more like Christmas than freshly made mince pies - the perfect addition to a cup of tea or mulled wine during a festive film.

I love nothing more than cosying up with a good book, and during the festive season it only gets better; Christmas lights, a mince pie or two, and a festive read make for a perfect cosy afternoon.

Hello hello, time for another Sunday catch up where I'll be sharing all things I've been reading, watching and listening to recently.

Autumn is the perfect season for a bit of  weekend baking, and these lemon drizzle cupcakes certainly don't disappoint! Soft, lemony sponge topped with a zesty sugar drizzle - these cupcakes are an ideal pick me up on a rainy Sunday with a cup of tea.

After 5 years and 2 degrees I have finished Uni! My first degree being BSc (hons) Politics and International Relations, and the second MA Public Administration and Public  Policy. It's been a long ole' journey, and now I'm job hunting with little else to do, I have been pondering over my feelings towards finally being finished with the student life.

This year I've set myself the goal of reading 60 books. Maybe slightly optimistic, but I really want to continue prioritising reading over endless scrolling and Netflix binging.

Chocolate and orange is the ultimate flavour combination. Sweet and rich, yet zesty and fruity. I'm still waiting on Terry to make a dairy free version, but until then I'll stick with these. Easy to whip up, chocolatey, moist cupcakes with a zesty chocolate top, and no dairy in sight.

Crisp on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside with melty chunks of chocolate - the perfect cookie, and they're vegan too, making it the perfect recipe to round off Veganuary with.

This kind of post seems like such a cliche, and I've been toying with the idea of writing it for a good couple of weeks.
