The Weekend Round Up #2

This weekend hasn't exactly been the most fun filled weekend, nor the most productive of weekends, so I thought I'd talk about my leavers ball on Friday night for the most part of this blog post.

The ball was really fun, I spent the majority of the afternoon getting ready with my best friends Charlotte and Jess, this involved a lot of make-up wipes, make-up and hairspray and us generally giggling trying our best to crowd around one mirror.

Just before the ball, me on the left

This is us just before we left to go to the ball, we had the evening sun right in our eyes and when this was taken we'd started moving towards the car, but we all agreed it looked the nicest of all of us. The mint greeny blue dress I wore is from Mango, my shoes are from Marks and Spencers (the most comfortable heels ever!), the white and sliver embellished clutch bag I took with me is actually my mum's and i have no idea where it's from but it worked perfectly with my outfit. All the jewelry I wore I got as birthday presents so I don't know prices or anything, but I wore a Swarovski crystal necklace, a sparkly sliver bangle that has a hinge thing to open and close around your wrist (I hope that makes sense) and my Pandora bracelet.

My make-up isn't too clear in this, but I went for a quite glowy look since everyone seems to tan except from me. I used the Maybelline Baby Skin Primer, Rimmel Match Perfection foundation in Ivory, Collection Lasting Perfection concealer in shade 1 fair, Rimmel Match Perfection Highlighter-Concealer in ivory, Clinque Almost Make-up Powder in Very-Medium Fair, Elf Blush in Just Peachy, No. 17 Bronzing Pearls in Light, Rimmel Eyeshadow Primer, various eyeshadows from MUA palletes Heaven and Earth and Undress Me Too, a small amount of L'oreal Superliner Perfect Slim in intense black, Maybelline the Rocket mascara, Estee Lauder lipstick in Vanilla Truffle Creme, Estee Lauder lipgloss in Simply Pink shine and for my eyebrows I used a Barbra Daley powder which has sadly been discontinued and an Elf clear brow gel.

Saturday was spent mainly nursing a killer hangover, but Sunday was a little more interesting. I was feeling a really exhausted which I often do after going out somewhere as I put all my energy into enjoying myself and also stopping myself from having panic attacks, so I went for a walk on Sunday. And although this doesn't sound like the most relaxing thing I could have done, it gave me a couple of hours to just clear my mind a little and to take some photographs of the glorious countryside I live in.

Well that's all for another weekend, hope you all had a lovely relaxing time as well

Em x
