The Fault In Our Stars - The Film

Yesterday I went to see The Fault In Our Stars film with one of my best friends. It was amazing, I can't explain how much I enjoyed it. As I explained in this post, the book is one of my favourite books of all time, and I had high hopes for this film that certainly weren't disappointed.

I felt that the film stayed really close to the book, which I absolutely loved. Obviously some parts of the book were missed out, but I think that happens in most book to film adaptations
Despite knowing the input that John Green had in the film and all the good comments I'd seen, I was still slightly nervous that I wouldn't like it for some reason or another, but I loved it. I can't even explain exactly how much I loved it. I think the film was done in such a beautiful way, and I don't know if it's just me but the way that the film was acted was exactly how I imagined it to be like when I was reading it.

I'm sure there are many other much better write ups of this film, but I just can't even explain how much I loved it. I think I'm seriously going to have to reread the book and re-watch the film and then maybe discuss further...? I'm not sure, I'm still emotionally unstable.

It's well worth a watch, even if you're not a film person - I'm certainly not but I loved it. Everything was captured so beautifully, and I just can't.

I laughed and cried the whole way through, as did everyone else in the cinema, so don't forget the tissues!
I'd love to see what you thought of the movie, so please leave a comment or something :)

I'll be back on Sunday with another weekend round up for you, so I guess I'll catch you then.

Okay?
- Okay.

Em x
