Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell

(this is spoiler free for those who haven't read the book yet)

It's no secret that I like books. I possibly like books too much.
I think that maybe they make me happier than they should, but there is just something that comforts me knowing that I can so easily get lost in another world and just forget about the 'real world'.

I love Rainbow Rowell's writing, and so when I was paid and had enough money to buy books I obviously went for Fangirl. I had high hopes for this book, and it really didn't disappoint. I felt I could relate to Cath really well and whilst I was reading she literally became all I could think about. If I had to put the book down I could only think about how much I just wanted to pick it up again and continue reading to find out what was going to happen next. Rainbow Rowell has a way of writing that completely grabs you from the first page and the book becomes a drug that you just can't get enough of.

This was really shown at the end because can we just talk about that ending for a moment?! It seemed to end too soon. Obviously you can see how many pages you've got left and so you know it's going to end but I just wasn't ready for it. I just needed a couple more pages for it to completely satisfy me. I don't think I'm the only one who thinks that either, I've seen various booktubers talking about how they just needed a little more of that ending, and I'm completely the same.

Definitely worth a read if you're looking for a page turner of feels.

What did you think of Fangirl?
