Everyday Make Up

This is my go to everyday make up, nothing too fancy, but enough to make me feel like I've made an effort for myself and whatever I'm doing that day. On a daily basis I like my make up to be quite light and natural, but still covering up any imperfections I want.

Face:

The first step after my skincare is priming my skin. I use to Benefit That Gal brightening primer because it perks up my skin which often looks quite dull, keeps unwanted shine at bay and helps prolong my make up.

For everyday I don't like to use a full coverage foundation, instead I prefer to use a tinted moisturizer for a bit of a fresher and more natural look. My favourite is the E.L.F Tinted Moisturizer in the shade Porcelain. It blends into my skin so well, I use to the Real Techniques Expert Face brush to buff it into my skin, and it creates a really naturally flawless base for my make up.

I always use two concealers, and it's simply because my ideal concealer would be them both combined into one! I firstly use the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer in 1 fair over my dark circles, around my nose a little and on any blemishes. I just use the expert face brush again to blend this in. I then take the Maybelline Eraser Eye concealer in light in the very inner corners of my eyes and underneath slightly to add an extra brightness, using my fingers to blend.

To set all of this I use the Clinique Almost Powder Make Up in the shade 02 neutral fair, which is basically a fuller coverage powder which is perfect over a tinted moisturizer and for touch ups during the day. It adds an extra coverage without looking cakey on the skin, and still giving the skin a natural look.

Because I'm so pale I have to go fairly easy on bronzer to warm up my face, and I tend to steer clear of contouring products just because I haven't found anything that doesn't look muddy on my skin. I use the Bourjois Delice de Poudre chocolate bronzer in 51, which I believe is the lightest shade. It adds a really nice glow and warmth to my face without looking too over the top or fake.

For a flush of colour I love the Rimmel Lasting Finish blusher in 020 pink rose. It's a beautiful slightly muted peachy, pinky rose that adds a really gorgeous flush to the cheeks. The colour is quite buildable but in a natural way, so it's really easy to manipulate how much product you're putting on.

Finally for my base makeup I add a highlight with the Benefit High Beam. I am obsessed with this highlight, it looks so beautiful on the skin and adds a really nice highlight without being too shimmery.

Brows:

My eyebrow routine is simple, but on of my favourite things about doing my make up. I comb through my brows and then fill them in using the lightest colour in the Hi-Impact Professional Brow palette and an angled brush from ecotools. Once I'm happy with them I just set it using the Natural Collection Lash Care mascara in clear as a brow gel.

Eyes:

For eye make up I like to keep things really simple. I prime my lids with the Revlon PhotoReady eye primer, before using the Maybelline The Nudes eye shadow palette. None of the shadows are named, but from the top I use the third colour all over, with the fifth and second colours in the crease for a little definition, followed by the first colour under the brow bone and in the inner corner for a highlight.

The Bourjois Volume Glamour Max mascara is my favourite at the moment, it really defines my lashes, adding volume and length without being clumpy at all.

Lips:

The Revlon Colour Stay Just Bitten Kissable balm stain in 001 honey is my perfect nude. It's so moisturizing and easy to wear on a daily basis and super handy as I can apply it without a mirror.
