The Accidental Boots Haul

I'm sure we've all been guilty of this at one point or another - the classic just going for a couple of essentials and then leaving with a bag full of goodies that you try to convince yourself are essentials but deep down you know you could've gone without for a while. Well that happened and I just thought I'd share the damage to my bank.

Sanex Dermo Sensitive Anti-perspirant Deodorant - £1.89

So this was what I was actually going into Boots for in the first place. I love Soft and Gentle and Sanex deodorants the best, because I feel they actually last on me, so I tend to go for which ever one is cheaper. I love that this one doesn't have too much of a fragrance so I can wear whatever perfume I want and be able to have the full scent of it, especially as a lot of my summer scents are more expensive ones, I don't want to waste them.

Natural Collection Lash Care Mascara in Clear - £1.99

This was another essential for me as this is what I use to set my eyebrows after filling them in with powder. It's so cheap but it does exactly what I want it to do, and you get more product for your money than some other drugstore brands.

Yes to Grapefruit Dark Circle Correcting Eye Cream - £11.99

I recently ran out of my Clinique eye cream, which I must say is probably a holy grail product for me, I love it so much! However I was looking for something that was a little more affordable than £26 for a small jar. I've been using this for the past few days and I have to say I really like it. It had a nice right but not too rich texture and I really like the brightening effects as the skin around my eyes is always so dark.

Real Techniques Blush Brush - £9.99

Pretty much everyone and their cat knows about Real Techniques and the amazing brushes they have. And the blush brush is no exception, the bristles are so soft on the skin and don't collect too much product. Real Techniques brushes also wash really well, so I think they're good value for what you pay.

Bourjois Instant Dry Nail Drops - £5.99

I brought this mostly out of curiosity because as much as I love painting my nails, I often get too impatient for them to dry fully. The reviews I've read have mostly been positive so I look forward to giving them a go.

Sally Hansen Diamond Strength Base and Top Coat - £8.69

I've used this before and love it, it adds such a beautiful shine to my nails and strengthens them at the same time. My nails have been really brittle recently, making colour chip quite easily every time I have a little break, so I'm hoping using this will strengthen them up more so I'll be able to grow my nails again.

Sally Hansen Cuticle Eraser and Balm - £7.95

This stuff is seriously nourishing on my cuticles. For some reason my cuticles have looked ragged and pretty disgusting recently and nothing seems to make them soft and look nicer, but this actually does for me. I only use a tiny bit at a time, but it's really softening and smells gorgeously of cucumber and white tea, so it's a perfect addition to a home manicure.

Revlon PhotoReady Eye Primer and Brightener - £9.99

This primer actually works on my oily eyelids at making eye shadows last longer as well as generally brightening the whole area. I use this not only when I'm wearing eye shadow but also when I'm not to brighten my eye area without being as heavy as using something like a concealer.

So that's my accidental haul over, fingers crossed to be able to restrain myself next time I go past!
