Friday Favourites #3

I'm back with another set of five things I've been loving this week. For quite a while I was loving using the same things, but recently I went shopping and picked up a few new bits and bobs so I had to really narrow it down to just five this week!

First up is the Soap and Glory Brow Archery pencil in hot chocolate. I love this, having a spooly brush on one end makes it so easy to make your brows look really natural and not harsh at all, whilst the thin, easy to work with pencil adds natural look definition, colour and fullness to brows. And the pencil is wind up so no need for sharpening which is a bonus!

Also along the line of eye makeup, I finally caved and bought the Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara. I picked up the waterproof formula because I just can't be without a waterproof mascara! I love the curved wand, it really does make it easy to grab onto even the tiniest of lashes, whilst holding a curl as well. Lash Sensational adds volume and length to my lashes and just makes them look so much nicer than the naturally short, straight lashes they are.

Recently I've been loving a more neutral nail polish, and I love love love this more Autumnal polish from Rimmel in the shade Rain Rain Go Away. It's a beautiful mauve toned grey, perfect for transitioning into Autumn and I think it looks really sophisticated on the nails as well. As with lots of the Rimmel nail colours they apply beautifully, and this has lasted several days and still has no chips despite me not using a top coat.

I've been in the market for a makeup fixing spray for some time now, but I could never justify the hefty price tags of Urban Decay on my budget. After reading some rave reviews I picked up the Makeup Revolution Pro Fix Fixing Spray for just £5, and I'm so pleased I did. I don't like the word 'mesh', but this really meshes my base makeup together making it look much more natural and flawless, as well as making it last so much longer than normal. Normally I have to keep on reapplying powder to my t-zone which just ends up looking cakey, but with this fixing spray there's no need at all so my makeup stays looking natural all day.

Last but not least I've been loving this golden bar necklace from Primark. I'm really into quite subtle and simply jewellery, but I also like something that creates a little bit of a statement so this necklace fits the bill perfectly. It looks so simple but it quite eye catching at the same time, and it goes with so many different outfits - I love wearing it with a collared shirt so you can just see the bar in between the collars. And it was only £1.50 so a complete bargain!
