Most of these are going to be organisational, but having only been back in lectures the past week organisation is needed!
1. Balance my life better
At the moment I have the worst balance of work and social life ever. It seems that I can only cope with one of those things actually being done properly. Obviously I need to study hard, but I also want to make more time for blogging, relaxing and extra stuff like being involved in societies at university. Hopefully I can make the balance better, I just keep reminding myself that I have the same amount of hours in the day as Beyonce!
2. Keep up with blogging
You may have noticed that some posts over the last week have been going up much later than usual, or not at all. This is partly because I couldn't think of anything to blog about, and partly because I felt like I didn't have enough time. In reality if I'd planned things a little better there would've been no differences whatsoever. I plan to use Tuesday evenings and the weekends to plan, write and photograph as much as I can so I can have lots of posts planned before I get dragged down with essays and assignments.
3. Budget
I'm actually quite good with money, and I think that's because I'm scared of my overdraft. I know that it's there and I can go into it if needs be, but I think having the mentality that there's a whole host of money sitting there that isn't actually money I've put into my account is really bad. I've already set aside my rent money until for the rest of this year, but I need to work on a weekly food shop allowance and extra things I might need or want to treat myself to. It sounds silly wanting to budget and treat myself, but sometimes after a really rubbish day it's nice to buy myself a little something to cheer myself up with.
4. Eat healthier
I think this is something I want to do all the time, but I've noticed that the more comfortable I've go with my body the less I've been worried about it. I know it's good that I'm finally comfortable with my body and shape, but to stay happy I need to actually eat better foods. So far it's going well, but I have to admit that only thing stopping me from ordering a pizza right now is knowing I'll be sick from the cheese!
5. Keep up with university work
This links back to the first two points, but I really want to stay focused on my uni work and not get behind. I'll definitely be less stressed if I can stay on top of things from the word go.
So those are my goals for this month, do you have any goal? I'd love to read them in the comments
