Makeup Bag Peek + Highend Beauty Wishlist

I know I talk about beauty a lot, however I thought I'd talk about some products that I love, but haven't shared the same love on my blog, as well as some high end items that have been gracing my wishlist for a while.

Starting with concealer, I love the NYX Full Coverage Concealer for concealing my dark under eye circles. This is a really creamy concealer that works beautifully under eyes as it doesn't settle into fine lines and it really is full coverage. The shade I have (fair) has a pinky tone to it, making it ideal for counteracting the darkness of under eye bags.

For powder I really like the Bourjois Rice Powder, I brought this a while back and used it religiously for ages under my eyes to set concealer and then stopped. I rediscovered it a couple of weeks back and I love it so much. It stops under eye concealer from creasing and because it's brightening it acts as a little under eye highlight too.

For a beautiful, peachy subtle highlight I love this offering from Makeup Revolution in Peach Lights. It gives a beautiful sheen to the skin that just looks so natural. I love that this is an insanely cheap highlighter considering the quality, for a more intense highlight I like to layer this over Benefit High Beam.

For liquid lipsticks I love the Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvets. I have the shade nude-ist which is a beautiful boldish nude that I'm simply in love with. As it's a little bolder than most nude shades that I go for it works really well for when I want a bolder lip colour that's still within my comfort zone. Not to mention the formula, which is amazing. It has a wonderful lasting power and doesn't dry my lips which is always a worry with liquid lipsticks.

For more of a balmy lip product I am obsessed with this Clinique Chubby Stick in mega melon, especially going into spring. It's a beautiful shade that just looks so natural yet, a little bit better than my regular lip colour. Because my lips are quite red/pinky toned anyway, this just looks so natural and can applied  so easily due to the smooth and balmy texture.

Over the past few years I've been adding more higher end products to my collection, and as Farfetch have recently added a beauty section I thought I'd have a browse to see what they have on offer.

blog post

1. Lipstick Queen in Nude Sinner - now it's so lie that I love me a nude lipstick, and this just looks beautiful. Described as being moisturising and full coverage, so for me it's the best of both worlds.
2. Oskia Get Up and Glow Serum - Recently I've really been getting into using serum underneath my moisturiser, and the idea of a serum that's light yet radiant sounds ideal for that glow from within look that I long for.

3. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette - I feel like this is on the wishlist of every blogger or makeup lover. A trio of beautiful powders that I've seen raved about everywhere.

4. Rodial Dragon's Blood Eye Gel - I love eye creams, and feel like a gel formula would be wonderfully hydrating under my eyes. Described as being refreshing for tired eyes and works at depuffing eyes too, so ideal for early mornings!

5. By Terry Ombre Blackstar in Violet Orchid - I've heard so much about these eyeshadow sticks, and whilst I normally go for more neutral shades I thought this violet shade would be perfect for adding a little pop of colour, even if just for a little liner.

Do you have any high end makeup or skincare products on your wish list right now?
