Minimal Makeup

This was going to be a 5 product face look, but I just couldn't it. Missing out products just didn't feel right, nor did it look right. So here is my minimal makeup look, perfect for when I'm in a rush, don't feel like wearing much makeup and for those days where I need to look together but only have 15 minutes to leave the house.

Soap and Glory One Heck of a Blot Primer

Despite being a fairly new addition to my makeup collection, however this primer has fast become a favourite. Minimising my pores, allowing for a smoother makeup application and last longer too.

Maybelline Eraser Eye Concealer in light

I'm lucky that I tend to have good skin, and so all that needs concealing are my under eye circles, and that's where this comes in. This lightens up the darkness under my eyes, as doesn't settle into creases either. The spongy applicator means it's easy to apply and it makes blending super easy too.

MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation in NC15

I love a powder foundation for when I have very little time, but still want my skin to have a more even tone. The coverage is just right for me, and I love that being a powder it keeps my skin matte across the t-zone.

Sleek Contour Kit in light

This is perfect for adding a touch of contour to define my face a little more. The contour shade is perfect for adding just a light shadow to my cheeks. A light dusting of the highlight adds a little glow to my skin.

L'Oreal Le Blush in 120

I mentioned this blusher in a recent blog post, and I love it! It's the perfect shade to add a little flush of colour to my cheeks and really perk my skin up.

Soap and Glory Archery Brow Pencil in hot chocolate

For me, this fine pencil is the perfect product for filling in my brows. I can add in extra 'hairs' with very fine strokes and add some extra shape and definition too. Plus the brush on the other end makes it so easy to distribute product throughout my brows evenly.

L'Oreal Brow Artist Plumper in medium/dark

Setting my brows with this not only means that my brows are in place for the whole day, but it also adds texture and extra thickness to my brows too.

Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara

I think it is possibly my favourite mascara, big claim I know, but there's nothing that holds a curl and volumizes my lashes quite as much.

All I do then is just finish off with a quick slick of lip balm and I'm good to go.

What are your minimal makeup favourites?

Em x
