Spring Nail Polishes

I find painting your nails a really good way of adding colour to outfits, expressing your personality through little designs, and appreciating seasonal colour trends. I love pastel colours, on clothes, homeware and of course in nail polish. Like with my lipstick post, I'm sharing my favourite nail polishes for the spring months, mostly pastel shades, and some more expensive brands and some much more affordable brands too.

This gorgeous pink colour is perfect for spring, especially when I want something that oozes girly. I got this for my birthday a couple of years ago, and as I have a spring birthday I find I always associate this pretty pink with April and spring months.

Chanel Le Vernis Nail Colour in 521 Rose Cache

Another luxurious nail polish, can we just appreciate the packaging though?! This more neutral polish is ideal any time of year for a nude nail look, but I think the slightly pinky toned nude is perfect for the spring. I love this for when I want something a little more sophisticated or if I need something that will just go with everything.

Nails Inc Gel Effect nail polish in Regents Place

A beautiful pastel-esqe blue is a must for me, I find this on my nails for frequently throughout the spring, and dare I even type the word, summer. As well as the stunning shades, the formula is brilliant too. The gel effect really gives a much more glossy finish to my nails, and lasts longer without chipping too - which is a saving grace to be honest.

Essie Nail Lacquer in Lilacism

How could I resist this beautiful lilac shade, it just screams spring if you ask me. This is the newest addition to my growing pastel nail polish collection, but I love it so much, I painted it on my nails last week and still no chips which is amazing.

L'Oreal Paris Color Riche nail polish in Rose Ballet

This almost raspberryish shade is stunning, I love it. The shade is perfect for this time of year but when you don't want a colour that's stereotypically spring or too pastel. What's more the finish is amazingly glossy, and so affordable too I really need to pick a few more shades up.

Rimmel x Rita Ora nail polish in Breakfast in Bed

How could I not include a mint nail colour? I gravitate towards anything mint coloured, and so naturally I'm in love with this nail polish. It's the perfect spring colour and applies nicely to the nails. It does need several coats to build up the colour without streaks, however I think that is to be expected with pastel shades and for the price who can complain?!
