2 Minute Chocolate Dessert

I've probably said it before, but to say that I have a sweet tooth is a bit of an understatement. Being dairy free really doesn't help when all I fancy is a chocolatey treat, so I've spent some time experimenting with recipes to find a dessert that ticks all the boxes. This chocolate dessert has become a favourite, it's so speedy to make, and it's dairy and gluten free too.

All you need is 1 egg, 6 tablespoons of sweetener and 2 teaspoons of cocoa powder, as well as fruit and choc shot to serve.

Simply put the egg, cocoa powder and sweetener into a microwavable mug and mix well together. It doesn't look like it will mix a first but once you've burst the egg yolk it becomes much easier.

Once your chocolatey mix looks something like this pop it into the microwave for 1.5 minutes. Whilst it's cooking chop up some fresh fruit into a bowl or plate. I went from strawberries and banana, but any berries or orange would be delicious. Think of those classic fruity chocolate combinations.

When the microwave is done, your chocolate mix will look spongy and will have loosened around the sides of the mug. Tip it out on top of your fruit and drizzle some choc shot over the top.

Choc shot is my latest chocolatey obsession, it's a liquid chocolate that's gluten and dairy free and even suitable for diabetics. It's delicious over this chocolate dessert as it melts into the cake and runs over the fruit giving the perfect chocolate fix.

For anyone following slimming world, this delicious dessert is only 2.5 syns when served with 1/2 a teaspoon of choc shot.

Hope you enjoy having a go at making this quick and easy chocolatey goodness.
