So I've been blogging for a year-ish. I say ish because if you go through the archives of Emily Writes, my first post is actually 26th April 2014. But for a year from that point my posts were extremely sporadic, and it wasn't until around this time last year that blogging really became I hobby that I wanted to pursue. So to celebrate and to say thank you for your support I'm running a little giveaway.



Last year, date unspecific but around this time I got into blogging more. I started using the name Emily Writes, although I liked the idea of sticking to the same site with updated looks (which wasn't too great I have to admit) and I started telling people that I had a blog. Previously when I'd been uploading, I must have been the only reader as I never tweeted any links, I didn't use bloglovin' and I never even told anyone of my little corner of the internet. Fast forward to now, and blogging is an important part in my life, however silly that sounds. I love spending time to create content for my blog, engaging with other bloggers and their posts and what's more I love promoting my blog. Whilst I don't have the largest following, I'm proud of my blog and thankful for everyone who reads Emily Writes and leave comments.
