Essie - Chinchilly
This is one of my favourite neutral polishes for the autumnal and wintery months, the minky/grey is dark enough to look different from my paler neutral shades, and yet it's still plain enough to go with everything.
Next - Ballet Shoe (part of set)
I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with glitter polishes, but this one is very much love. The golden glitter is fine so it doesn't feel at all rough, and it looks beautiful one it's own or layered over a colour as an accent nail.
Essie - Aperitif
This is a gorgeous pinky/red which I think is perfect for the festive season if you want to go for something red toned but a little bit different. As with all Essie polishes, the wide brush makes applying this a dream and it's su glossy too.
Maybelline - Iced Queen (can't find link)
Purple is also a really beautiful shade for the festive season, still got a richness to it but it's a little different from the obvious festive choices. I love this purple as it's not too pale so it works all year round.
Seventeen - Midnight Sapphire
For a budget polish I'm so impressed with the opacity and longevity. It's such a gorgeous deep blue, with I think looks so pretty for the festive season. It's also very pretty with a touch of glitter as an accent nail if you're feeling fancy.
Next - South Beach (can't find a link)
A beautiful pillar box red is of course perfect for a Christmas manicure. The gel formula means it last well and looks really shiny on the nails which I love. It's a true red to get you in the festive spirit, probably my favourite red nail polish.
I'm going for the glittery yet nude toned Ballet Shoe for my festive manicure, what are your favourite festive nail picks?
