Max Factor 3-in-1 Foundation First Impression

Normally I'm quite picky about foundations; I find it really tricky to find a shade that matches my skin tone, I like quite a medium coverage without feeling to heavy and not to mention the struggle of having an oily t-zone! A while back I thought I'd give the Max Factor 3-in-1 foundation a go. I hadn't really heard too much about this foundation, but the shade match was perfect and the bottle said all day flawless which pretty much sealed the deal. Because of how picky I am, first impressions are key to me, and spoiler I love this foundation!

Like I said, I have an oily t-zone however the rest of my face is pretty 'normal' in terms of skin type although when I tried this I had a random dry patch and there wasn't any product clinging to that which is really good. Other than that I have the shade Light Ivory, which I believe is the lightest shade and it's my perfect match.

Despite the bottle saying primer, concealer and foundation all in one, I did apply a primer first. I probably should have tested out the on the bottle claim, but I just feel like foundation applies so much nicer when my skin is smoothed with primer first. I also put a bit of concealer on under my eyes because my under eye dark rings are real people!!

When applying I noticed how lightweight the product feels for a medium coverage foundation, which I love as it barely felt like I was wearing makeup and definitely not mask like. Because of the lightweight formula it is really easy to build up to more of a full coverage if desired.

It's quite a matte finish, but I still dusted a little powder across my t-zone and it stayed put. All day. Usually I'd have to powder my face twice a day, but this needed no touch ups whatsoever, not even after 8 hours of wear on the face me going about daily life.

Not the best quality image, but I think my skin looks really nice with the Max Factor foundation on. For other products on my face see this post here.

Overall I'm really impressed with this, it fits me perfectly and I love wearing it and not having to think about makeup being on my face.

Have you tried this foundation before?

Em x
