I feel like 2017 so far has been a bit of a whirlwind, almost literally this past week thanks to Doris. It's a cold Sunday, and the weather is looking pretty pants, so I'm having a well-deserved break from essay writing to write a little update as to where the heck I've been.

January is probably my least favourite month of the year, it drags on forever and everything is miserable so I'm not complaining to be seeing the back of it! It's also been a rather hectic month with uni work, this is my final year so I'm spending the majority of my time studying and writing my dissertation. I still want to keep up with blogging but for the next few months, it may dip in consistency. I really like bringing all the things I've been loving from a month together so I'm hoping to keep up my month loves posts, speaking of, I've had a fair few favourites this month. A few basic beauty bits and bobs perfect for a wintery evening.
