Neutral Makeup Look

Recently I've been loving doing a simple, quite neutral makeup look. Fresh skin to perk my face up a bit, softly defined eyes and pinky toned lips, it's the perfect put-together look ideal for everyday, not to mention is adds a wonderful glow to lacklustre skin.

One Heck of a Blot Primer

I can't do my makeup without primer, I need something that's going to keep my makeup in place and smooth over my pores. I've never really found on that I love, until I brought this after reading so many rave reviews. It certainly doesn't disappoint, leaving a smooth finish to my skin and keeps oil at bay.

Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Foundation in Ivory I'm pure 4 sure

I love this foundation, it's my favourite liquid formula by far - adding a dewy but natural finish to the skin. I mixed a bit of this with a blob of my moisturiser to create my perfect tinted moisturiser, and I love the results. I'm lucky in that I generally have quite good skin and so can get away with light coverage. I especially like to go for lighter bases on a more everyday basis to show my freckles and too look more skin like and natural.

ColorStay Concealer in Light

This concealer is amazing, and it pretty much has holy grail status in my makeup collection. It's creamy and light so it doesn't cake or settle into lines, yet it has enough coverage to cover under eye circles and blemishes.

Healthy Balance Powder in Vanille

For me this is the ultimate powder. It's mattifying but not cakey, even when reapplied during the day, and is a beautifully fine powder that sets makeup perfectly. For me, unless I'm wearing powder foundation, no makeup look is complete without this.

Contour Kit in Light

This kit it ideal, the contour shade is more of bronzer shade for me but I love the matte finish and the highlighter. Oh my, where to start; it's beautiful. I didn't think golden highlighters would suit me, but it looks stunning sweeped on to the high points of my face to add a glow that will last all day.

Brow Archery Pencil in Hot Chocolate and Brow Artist Plumper in Medium/Dark

This is the perfect brow combination if you like your brows defined, bold and thicker. The brush on the pencil means it's so easy to disperse the product evenly and the plumper to set the look is ideal at adding a little extra colour and thickness and keep them in place all day. I'm in love with this brow duo!

Naked Chocolate Palette

I've mentioned my love for this palette previously, so of course I've been using this non-stop. I love using the shades adorable and milky to create a beautifully subtle yet defined eye look.

Flash Lash Effect Mascara

I used to use Max Factor makeup a lot, but then stopped for whatever reason, so I'm really pleased that I picked this mascara up at a friends recommendation. It adds so much length to my lashes, and holds a curl like nothing else, not to mention adding the perfect amount of volume for thicker lashes that aren't clumpy.

 Peach Blossom Lipstick

When I got this, I knew it would be perfect for everyday makeup looks, and this cremesheen finish natural lip colour really makes this look. It goes with everything, and it so easy to just put on quickly to pull your makeup together.

Please excuse my glasses doing the glare thing, it was so bright and sunny when I took this.

What are your neutral makeup favourites?
