20 Things in Almost 20 Years

Tomorrow I turn 20, and I like to think that throughout my childhood and teenage years I've learnt a fair few things. Aside from school and that all important pythagasaurus theorem which I still haven't used since GCSE, I've been through various struggles which I've learnt from. So I thought I'd share the important tips I've learnt over the years.

Veleza App Review

A couple of months ago I was asked if I'd be interesting in using a fairly new app for beauty lovers. Veleza is an app that creates a community of people who love beauty; be that makeup or skincare or anything else, to share product reviews and tips with others.

Bullet Journalling

Bullet journals have recently been taking the blogosphere by storm, with the pretty designs, organisation and washi tape all rolled into one, they are a stationery lovers dream. I started mine way back in September last year after I wanted to get more organised for the new academic year. Since then I've discovered what I like and don't like, and how I've personalised bullet journaling to suit me completely.

Depression Awareness Week | What You Don't See

This week is depression awareness week, and to mark it The Blurt Foundation are asking people to share their experiences of depression that others don't see. I love the idea of this, simply because depression is much more than just a diagnosis of a mental illness; there's huge stigma, physical as well as mental effects, and it can have devastating impacts of people's lives. Here I'm sharing the aspects of depression that weren't seen and still aren't seen, in the hope of raising awareness of huge a horrible illness.

Revision Tips and Essentials

When the new academic year started up again, I post my study tips for the year. But with exams for many looming I thought now would be a good time to share some of my revision tips. These tips have been tried and tested, so hopefully they'll help you out if exams have got you in a muddle.

Slimming World Journey So Far

If you follow me on Twitter you may know that I joined slimming world back in February and I thought I'd share the experience. Whether you're a slimming world member, or just interested in how I've been able to change up my eating habits for the better, hopefully you'll enjoy what I'm hoping to expand into a mini series.

Tips For Wearing Glasses and Makeup

So first off, I feel I should say that by no means are these tips extensive, nor does anyone have to follow them, they're just some tips and tricks for my makeup that I've learnt over the years of wearing glasses. I first started wearing glasses at around the age of 12, just when I needed them for long distance things, and then at about 14 I started wearing glasses all the time. That was also around the time that I started wearing makeup more, and experimenting with makeup. So considering I've worn glasses everyday since then, I feel like I have a trick or two up my sleeve about getting my makeup to work with my glasses.

Why You Should Vote

This is different to the kind of things that I normally post, however I love politics and voting is something I'm rather passionate about.

Spring Nail Polishes

I find painting your nails a really good way of adding colour to outfits, expressing your personality through little designs, and appreciating seasonal colour trends. I love pastel colours, on clothes, homeware and of course in nail polish. Like with my lipstick post, I'm sharing my favourite nail polishes for the spring months, mostly pastel shades, and some more expensive brands and some much more affordable brands too.

Lambing Photo Diary

If you didn't know I actually live on a farm, have done nearly all my life. My favourite part of farm life are the sheep, especially lambing. I thought I'd share some pictures of our lambing season this year, not only are lambs really cute, I've seen several bloggers on Twitter expressing their love for the animal so why not share in lamby cuteness?!

Spring Lipsticks

Once again it's no lie that I'm a lover of a more neutral toned lip, and that's still true in spring. I've put together my favourite neutrals for spring, with a more pinky toned one and even slightly brighter (bright for me, haha).
